New Summer Camps at City Centre Mirdif and Al Zahia Blend Fun with Hands-On Learning
Parents looking for ways to keep children engaged over the summer have two new options, as City Centre Mirdif in Dubai and City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah launch summer camps that combine play, creativity and skill-building.
Running from 6 July to 28 August, the weekday programmes are designed for children aged 4 to 12 and feature a mix of interactive workshops, sports, arts and entertainment.
One of the biggest highlights this year is the newly opened Explorers at City Centre Mirdif, an indoor family entertainment destination that encourages children to learn through play. The venue brings together immersive play zones with instructor-led activities, giving young participants opportunities to explore, create and build confidence in a hands-on environment.
Children attending the Mirdif Summer Camp will have access to interactive experiences including Adventure Play and River Play, as well as creative sessions at Mamalu Kitchen, StuDIYo Lab, Picasso Studio and Confidence Lab. The programme also includes weekly visits to Magic Planet and family-friendly movie screenings at VOX Cinemas.

Designed for children aged 4 to 12, the camp starts from AED 275 and runs on weekdays throughout the summer.
At City Centre Al Zahia, children aged 4 to 11 can take part in a programme that combines physical activity with creative learning. Campers will enjoy bowling sessions, arcade games, arts and crafts, DIY projects, cooking experiences, sports activities and team-building exercises, alongside weekly trips to VOX Cinemas.
The Zahia Summer Camp starts from AED 149, with sibling discounts available for families enrolling more than one child.
While the camps are packed with entertainment, the programmes also aim to encourage collaboration, creativity, problem-solving and social interaction, offering children opportunities to develop new skills while making friends during the school break.
Both camps run Monday to Friday until 28 August, giving families flexible options for keeping children active and engaged throughout the summer holidays.
