Esaad card benefits extended to Hamdan scholarship students
New partnership gives scholarship recipients access to offers and discounts across education, healthcare, tourism and other sectors
Students enrolled in the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme will now have access to Esaad card benefits following a new partnership between Dubai Police’s Esaad Card Centre and the scholarship program.
The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) on September 13 to extend the card’s offers and discounts to scholarship recipients, adding practical benefits to the support provided throughout their educational journey.
Benefits across multiple sectors
Students will be able to access exclusive offers from participating companies and institutions across the commercial, tourism, entertainment, healthcare and education sectors in the UAE and internationally.
The agreement was signed during the orientation day for the third cohort of students in the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme. Colonel Salah Al Marzouqi, Director of the Esaad Card Centre, and Dr. Amna Almaazmi, CEO of Growth and Human Development at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), signed the MoC in the presence of H.E. Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA and Chair of the scholarship program’s Steering Committee.
The partnership supports the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, which places recognition and encouragement of academic excellence within the student experience.
Supporting high-achieving Emirati students
The Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme selects 100 high-achieving Emirati students each year from government and private schools across different curricula.
Students receive scholarships to study at leading universities in the UAE and abroad, with the program targeting disciplines aligned with labor market needs and national development priorities.
The program forms part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and has been allocated a total budget of AED 1.1 billion over the coming years.
The partnership between Dubai Police and the scholarship program adds another layer of support for students, combining recognition of academic achievement with benefits that can be used during their studies.
Launched by Dubai Police in 2018, the Esaad Card is a loyalty program offering discounts and benefits across multiple sectors.
